Hiking – Challenge the Magic of Ingruma
Participate in this magical challenge in which you will learn about the history, the routes and the mysteries that surround this wonderful HARD STONE, virgin forest trails, bird sightings, magical places, enigmatic waterfalls, ceremonial places and unique landscapes.
- ITINERARY
- 10:00 AM meeting at the kiosk in the Plaza de San Sebastian (description, checklist, protocols).
- 10:15 AM physical preparation, recommendations
- 10:30AM we leave towards the western part of the town starting a steep climb until we reach the Cueva De “Lucho”
- 10:40 am approx/te: We start the stone path (smooth surface) Stations of the Cross.
- 11:30 am approx / te: Arrival at the top of INGRUMA (T. landscape, bird watching, ancestral trails, hydration, and stretching
- 11:50 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Departure to our next destination El Salto De La Bruja (optional) Only one person can climb at a time, vertigo
- 12:30pm to 01:00pm: arrival at the Circle of the Duende (it is a clearing in the form of a circle in the middle of the vegetation that envelops an unparalleled story, here we will have our lunch that consists of a cold cut made with Creole chicken, rice, potato , yucca accompanied by a delicious Natural Lemonade made with panela from the region, implementing Community Tourism.
- 01:30 pm to 02:00 pm Departure to our next great challenge Las Cascadas magicas del Amor
- 03:00 p.m. to 03:30 p.m. Arrival at the Spring Water Cascades of the Great Mountain Range of the hill, the Beach called La Cascada del Amor tells the story that its waters have magical powers that positively interfere with those who drink just a little, ( It is not allowed to bathe in this waterfall)
- 04:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. departure to our last destination of this Magical route, the hill of La Playa
- 05:00 pm to 05:15 pm: We start descending towards the Beach Community
- 05:45 pm to 06:00 pm: Arrival at the La Playa sector where we will board a vehicle bound for the San Serbastian Park kiosk (End and conclusions of the activity)

This route has a type 2 difficulty due to its duration and topography, therefore, its participants must have a moderate preparation considering that they are activities that require a lot of physical effort. It is important to wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for humid jungle trails and not to carry unnecessary items.
Note: All the garbage that we take, we bring it back.
Comfortable and own clothes and shoes with double stockings for hiking, mosquito repellent, cap or hat, tent or light jacket in case there is rain, more hydration, easy-to-transit food and hiking sticks
