Departure from Medellin: We will leave from the Poblado metro station at 6:50 am or from the Estadio station or at 7:50 am, in a van or bus depending on the number of people. We will head north of Medellin to find the exit to El Peñol.

Typical breakfast on the road: On the road that leads to El Peñol we will stop for breakfast at a typical restaurant in the region.

Arrival at Peñol and start of the boat tour: Once in the municipality of Peñol, we will go to the port where we will take a boat and take a tour of approximately 45 minutes through the old Peñol dam.

Visit by Boat to Emblematic Places of Peñol: Later from the boat we will see the House Museum, the Cross where the Temple of the Old Town was, the house of the soccer player James Rodríguez and the Piedra del Marial. We return to the port to continue the trip to Guatapé.

Ascent to La Piedra del Peñol (Optional with additional cost): We will visit the imposing Piedra del Peñol; a 220 meter high monolith that has become one of the main attractions of the region.

If you wish, you can climb to its top and appreciate the incredible panoramic view of the dam for an additional value of $20,000 that you will pay at the entrance.

If you choose to ascend to the Stone, we will wait for you below to continue our tour.

Lunch in Guatape: We will arrive at the municipality of Guatapé, where we will have time to enjoy a delicious typical tourist-style lunch (menu of the day at the restaurant).

Tour in Guatape: After lunch and take a short break we will take a walking tour of the town of Guatapé, a municipality recognized for its colorful houses. We will pass through the square, then we will go to the boardwalk where we will walk to the edge of the dam and finally, we will arrive at the port.

Return to Medellin: We will finish the tour at 4:30 in the afternoon; time in which we will take the transport that will take us back to Medellín.
